Celebrate AAPI Heritage Month on the Water
In celebration of AAPI Heritage Month, Community Youth Center of San Francisco invites friends, families, and community members to join us for a hands-on dragon boat experience at Lake Merced.
Dragon boating is a sport with over 2,000 years of history, rooted in Chinese tradition and community celebration. Each boat brings together 20 paddlers, a drummer, and a steersperson, working in rhythm to move as one. Today, it continues to bring people together across cultures as both a sport and a shared experience.
Whether you're trying it for the first time or just looking for a fun way to connect with others, this event is open to all.
Snacks and light refreshments will be provided
